We’re looking for a FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Specialist. You'll be part of our Commercial Controlling team based in Brussels and will report directly to the Finance Manager Commercial Control.

Your main responsibilities will be:

FP&A (60%)

  • Key support in the monthly reporting cycle. You business partner with the Sales team and support decision making through reporting on customer profitability, margin analyses, SKU performance and analysing ad-hoc commercial questions.
  • You support the finance team on the overall reporting, annual operating plan and forecast cycles as well as reporting towards Global FP&A Team (e.g.: pricing templates, corridor dashboard, value profit pool analysis etc)
  • Take part in the preparation of the Monthly Closing process and follow up the Monthly Review Deck with stakeholders.
  • Execute GRC controls to make sure that for all changes done a source document exists (GRC controls = internal audit)
  • You are also a key support in our Data & Analytics roadmap. A key objective is further automatizing our reporting landscape through database driven reporting and dashboard tooling like Power-BI.

Pricing (40%)

  • Responsible for managing and timely registering all contractual pricing and trade terms in the relevant systems (SAP and local trade term tool).
  • Follow up with sales and AR teams on questions, settlements /invoicing of these conditions and managing the appropriate provisions in SAP.
  • Follow up customer condition files of smaller accounts and business partnering with KAMs

For this role we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience within Finance/ Controlling / FP&A and a bachelor or master degree in Business, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills, good at establishing and maintaining relationships and promoting collaboration (teamplayer)
  • Love crunching numbers and possess excellent analytical skills
  • System savvy; strong skills on tooling, Excel, Power-BI, SAP BW, QlikView, experience with macro’s/databases is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment whilst maintaining high attention for detail
  • Not easily thrown off and like to explore unbeaten paths and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluent in English (Written and spoken) + Dutch/ French (advantageous)
  • Nice to have: Experience in a FMCG environment.
